Program Schedule
The program is designed so everyone can explore, share, learn, and enjoy at their leisure. The schedule features hands-on activities for kids (divided by age group), workshops for adults, as well as fun games and experiences for the whole family.

Who attends New York Mishpucha Camping?
Adventurous Russian-speaking Jewish (RSJ) families from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania.
Who leads the activities?
A combination of RSJ child educators, environmental enthusiasts, Jewish educators, artists and volunteers.
Is camping equipment and food be provided?
No. Every family is responsible for bringing their own camping equipment and supplies, as well as cooking their own meals.
We haven’t been camping before/in a long time. What should we bring with us?
Here is our suggested Packing List. If you still have questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to contact us!
Is alcohol permitted in the state park?
Yes. However, it is advisable to be discreet.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes. In the camping area, dogs must be restrained on a leash not longer than 10 feet.
Is it possible to have a campsite next to our friends?
Yes. The campsites are pre-assigned. If there is a specific family or families you want to be next to, please include their name(s) on the Registration Form.
Will firewood be provided?
Yes. Firewood will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis at several locations throughout the campground.
What happens if it rains?
We play in the mud! Activity areas are covered so the program goes on rain or shine. If the forecast predicts rain, make sure to bring a tarp and extra rope (or a pop-up tent), as well as rainboots and ponchos.
Can I bring my musical instrument?
Yes, please! Guitars, bongos, flutes, violins, etc. are welcomed! However, please note that official park Quiet Hours are 10PM to 7AM, which will be enforced by park rangers.
